We'll come discuss current practices with your students.

A lecture will be provided to discuss normal fetal heart anatomy and views. I will also discuss some common congenital heart defects and the importance of understanding our vital role as sonographers.  A volunteer will allow me to demonstrate each diagnostic fetal heart view to the class, then each student will have the opportunity to obtain the fetal heart views with my assistance. 

Let us come to you and guide you in person. Our training is approved for Category A continuing education credits!*These credits are accepted by the ARDMS, ARRT, CCI and Sonography Canada.

I will present a lecture discussing all normal fetal heart anatomy, and the AIUM  recommended fetal heart views. I will also identify WHY we are imaging each fetal heart view. There will be examples of how common congenital heart defects appear sonographically and how to assess for those defects. 

I will demonstrate how to obtain each fetal heart view on volunteers, then assist each sonographer. At the end of training all sonographers will not only understand how to obtain the images, but also know the diagnostic importance of each view.

Each sonographer will practive their skills live on a volunteer. Books from leading authorities will be rented to each student for self-study during their stay. 

At the end of training all sonographers will get a certificate of completion and Category A continuing education credits!*
